When we first met with these clients, we were shocked by the sheer size of their kitchen space but also how completely cumbersome the function and layout was. We eliminated all of the angles, reworked the oversized layout to give them a hidden walk-in pantry, created some special design moments, and made timeless selections that will age well. The best part of wrapping a project is looking back on the “before”—swipe to see it for yourself! We strategically transformed this oversized dining space into a much needed office/guest room (with a Murphy bed) and added a walk in pantry for the kitchen on the other side so our clients could enlarge their kitchen space! #BakerMakeover

We love to look back at the beginning of an idea when we finish a project. Here’s a look at the initial concept sketches from a design meeting with our clients to the end result —> to create an Archetype home we love to take our clients along on our creative journey. We took our client’s dream of a car court in front of their home and designed a concept that kept the front entry of the home the star of the show and aesthetically made the front of the garages look like gatehouses attached to the brick wall on either side of the car court entry. This #kitchendesign is warm and inviting—rich wood tones, burnt sugar zellige, @serenaandlily lighting, and an oversized vent hood with built-in spice shelving. We did a night visit while wrapping up small things as we wait for the pool to finish at our #RichmondCraftCottage! So excited to close on this property and let this family make some amazing summer memories here. Love what we do and the people we get to do it for!

This client’s dream kitchen was up in her head being planned for years and years & we are so appreciative we had the opportunity to design and execute it for her. Our favorite things about this project: the plant ledge at the windowsill above the sink, the curved granite backsplash, the reeded glass display cabinet with the cabinet latch, and the custom light fixture above the window. #interiordesign #remodel #kitchenremodel

The minute we knew our clients wanted to keep their jetted tub we had the idea of encasing it in a fabricated Alaskan white marble and carrying it throughout the room. BEFORE & AFTER These awesome clients moved into a newly renovated home with the exception of the primary bathroom! They have been living with a bathroom that was entirely unusable and met zero of their needs. To fix this we opened up and replumbed the shower to create much needed water pressure while making it significantly larger, added in terrazzo floors throughout (even carrying it into the shower to make the room feel larger), black vertical stacked backsplash and walls to make the room feel taller, a hidden drain (an archetype staple), an LED mirror + tied it together with a white oak vanity. The best part? The bathroom’s design flows perfectly with the rest of the home. This laundry room at the #MakeOKHomeProject had such great bones from the original layout that all we needed to do was spruce it up a little bit. We finally were able to snag some pictures of our #PecanHillPrimaryBath for our amazing clients this week! Some of the things that we are most proud of on this project: • We made the off centered window on the back wall feel purposeful with the tile layout in the shower • We sanded and restained the client’s current oak vanity to rid it of any red tones and give it new life • The honey Calacatta marble tile was laid out perfectly so we could do without any jolly for seamless lines around the window and half-wall • We did all the selections & ordering prior to starting so we could accomplish the majority of this project while our clients were on vacation So excited about the way it finished.
